CBDT granted an one time relaxation from 5 years to 4 years in the regular service for promotion from erstwhile Stenographer Grade III to Stenographer Grade II (Pre revised Grade pay Rs 2400 to Rs 4200).
The relaxation will be available for vacancy year 2017-18.

Good news for stenos . But at the same time relaxation should have come for TAs also.Why so much partiality. Hope itef will take up the matter urgently .

ReplyDeleteSo many TA's are waiting for one time relaxation for promotion to Sr. TA. Last year it was came simultaneously for Steno and TA but this year it is for Steno's only. It is very disappointment for TA's. ITEF should take necessary steps for it where majority should be benefited. We hope that ITEF Would do it.

ReplyDeleteWhy priority given to stenos, they will promoted directly ITI. TAs are first promoted Sr. TA then ITI. Injustice for the cadre of TA. Shame to ITEF.
ReplyDeleteAll those who join this department prior to the implementation of the new RR should be promoted in the old RR. Or better thing to do would be to provide one-year relaxation to all of them until this lot is exhausted. TAs who have completed 2 years of service and asking for relaxation are well placed to do so. Especially when their predecessor have benefited from such scheme/relaxation. They aren't asking for anything new. Moreover, no offence to the stenos, their recruitment to this department should be outright stopped.

ReplyDeleteOne time relaxation for one year may also be given to MTS, TA and Sr.TA cadres for promotion to their next higher grades like the benefits given to Steno grades. MTS should be encouraged to stay in our department by giving them such relaxations.

ReplyDeleteNot only that, just yesterday, in kolkata region, hindi Stenos who have not yet passed in the english exam have been promoted based on this order with the relaxation that they have to pass the exam within three months. That means, they will organise a special exam for them to pass. So much relaxation for them, whereas TAs are suffering , inspite of passing the exams, for want of just 1 year service relaxation. Is this fair?

ReplyDeleteYe jo relaxation hai isse kewal 2011 batch ke stenos promote honge jbki 2011 aur 2012 ke TAs kb k promote ho chuke hai aur inko ko department me aae 5 saal ho chuke hain. 2013 batch ko posting late mili thi unko 2 saal nie hue kewal promoties TAs aur ICT wale TAs ko hi ek saal ke relaxation ka fayda hoga. So, dusre ki thali mat dekho khud ke lie ldo.
ReplyDeleteas per the details available numerous TA are there who have completed more than 2 yes and see her to get promoted. I am happy that stenos got relaxation for the second time and most charger that for double promotion steno GR-II and ITI . where as there are TA like me who because of ,ICT even after completing more than four years still waiting for promotion even after more than,100 ,STA vacancies are available. another ridiculous thing which I want got to bring your notice is me and a MTS got ICT IN AUG 2014. he got promoted to TA based on year of passing exam counting his last service. then why the CBDT and ITEFis taking double standard by not counting the last service of other cadres even after sufficient vacancies are available.
