The Surcharge on Individual Income Tax has been abolished.
Exemption of House Rent if staying in rented house shall be extended to the Senior Citizens. Eor Example Mr.X is a pensioner living in a rented house and pays Rs 8,000.00 as rent. He shall be given exemption of the rent he paid.
