JCA, West Bengal suspends agitation

As informed earlier in this blog, JCA West Bengal withdraws the ongoing agitation. As per their version, CBDT's decision to form a committee to look into the phasing out of posts from West Bengal region is a appreciable gesture and in response, they decided to "temporarily" withdraw the ongoing agitation since 4th April 2014.
It may be noted that JCA is happy enough on relook of the phasing out of posts only which is likely to be effected in future but the discrimination in cadre review (Not getting even a single ITO post) seems to be accepted by the unions !
Sincere thanks to CBDT for providing the face saving formula !

  2. The agitation was started for discrimination of post allocation to the WB region. The same is withdrawn for other reason.It is totally pre planed and face saving formula for the JCA WB unit and arranged to deceive the carrier of all the employees of WB region.Shame ! Shame! Unions and responsible Officers.

  3. There is no other go. This is the face saving decision for the JCA West Bengal. So dear Comrades of West Bengal atleast from now onwards work sincerely for the Department from which you are getting your salary. Please try to change your work culture otherwise in the next Cadre Restructuring you are going loose further reduction of posts in which time there will be no ITEF, no ITGOA and no JCA to put pressure for the unjust cause of West Bengal.

Having observed comments from various members from different IT zones, I would like to question the following from our learned members (i) If W.B. does not get sufficient post, how does it benefits other zone members? The entire country does not have eligible members for filling up the posts in different Gp C cadre posts, whereas in W Bengal, people are not sure whether they will become Inspectors before they retire, even if some wrong doings have been done in the past, can this be justified by denying the present lot their due? Presently, candidates from all over the country come through SSC, and by denying them promotion, is it only affecting the Bengalees or also to anyone from any native place, who is posted at West Bengal. Do we belong to the entire Income Tax Department as an Indian or from a specific region only? The top level administrators may kindly look into this and do the necessary.

    i) do u want a sensitive posting(!!!) for ever??... just please our ITEF leaders [all u know how?]

    ii) do u want to spent ur whole life in a single building( specially, aayakar bhawan )?? .....
    don't worry! the formula is the same.......
    iii) do u want to enjoy ur monthly salary, without doing a single work?? ......... just become the "lezur" of union leaders....
    iv) do u love to hold a port folio?? ...... here in ITEF, lots of arrangement exists...except traditional posts, floor representative, building representative, ladies representative etc. ......all u have to attend the meeting...hear the lecture of secy./pres. and remain silence ....in exchange u will be called for every profitable events.....

In WB region, ITEF and ITGOA r extremely united.....do u need example?, ...ok, here is one.....we have one ITEF leader,named 'S****** babu'[ attd. like "the boss"]....for making him pass the deptt. exam, the ITGOA leaders die hardly gave group effort ....while other employees chewing their pens for answere, infront of them, the ITOs dictating answere only to him.... but the sadest news for us, that, as the exam procedure become harder now , he could not qulify the altimate exam !!!... HE IS ONE OF THE REPRESENTATIVE /SOLDIER FOR CADRE REVIEW ...DO U EXPECT POST WILL COME IN WB????

  10. Lucknow is also deficient zone having large no of eligible candidate for iti & ito. Iske liye to aawaj buland kare.

  11. Tamil Nadu still have more than 300 qualified for ITO promotion left and same number for ITI promotion. But the post allocation is unjustified to Tamil nadu.

  12. in bihar charge TAs of 2007-08 are still awaiting for promotion to the grade of ITI and will have to wait for next 10 years as there is huge stagnation in bihar no retirement in future. ITEF will need to fight for DR posts reported to SSC once again and fight for bringing back those seats for promotees as it has done in 2001 Crade review.

  13. in delhi mumbai like charge where huge allotment of seats are done, but in many charge there have been less allotment of seats however through SSC we all are recruited with good ranks but still waiting for promotion to the grade of ITI even though passed dept. exam ITI since 2009. It is high time that union of those charges demand for DR post to be converted to DP posts and the matching vacancies for DR posts may be taken from Delhi and mumbai like charges and in this way there will be justification of right of equality as per our constitution. Think think ITEF of bihar, WB, Lucknow and similar other charge demand unitedly and fight against this injustice.

    1. I got my promotion from Sr.TA to ITI 9 years after passing ITI exam and you want promotion after 5 years! FOther it and restrict yourself to processing and compiling reports for another 3-4 years. JAI HO CBDT !

  14. Dear friends,It is high time we object to the monthly contribution to the Unions being deducted from our monthly salaries. These people are just giving big big talks while feasting with our contributions by conducting meetings,visiting the CBDT WITH NET RESULT NOT ONLY ZERO BUT IN THE NEGATIVE !

  16. In 1st notification it was said all the addl. Post created will be filled from promotion then why DR quota has been retained. Why ITEF not raise this before CBDT. Other point is that in new RR, Passing quota should be retained either for promotion to ITI or for promotion to ITO. This motivate the officials for their better future . ITEF should raise this demand. Why the leaders are quiet they have to fight for better future of the members of ITEF. Therefore, passing quota should be provided at the level for ITI or ITO.

  17. devil of the root is promotion as per career prospect. so why cbdt don't change its rule. make all india seniority and all india transfer Posting. after that no one will cry for his promotion or cadre restructure either any IT staff or itef member.
