"The president is pleased to appoint the following officers of Indian Revenue Service

It can be noticed that all promotion in the IRS cadre is taking effect as and when vacancy arises, if necessary in ad hoc basis also. But the same urgency is not seen in case of promotion from ITO to ACIT. Board even could not calculate the actual vacancy position yet.
No news is available regarding the scheduled meeting of JCA of 12th Aug in New Delhi. Neither ITEF nor ITGOA has come out with the outcome or any agitation program yet.

These promotions are not a ITGOA victory. A big promotion order of CIT, PCIT, CCIT is on the way. CBDT wants to balance its ratio of Addl.CIT to CIT. That is why these adhoc promotions . JCA should immediately start serious agitation like indefinite daily walkouts till all due ACIT promotions are released

Those who got promotions to JCsIT were promoted as DCIT wef 20.06.2012 and effective date of promotion was to be treated from such date. CBDT had a change of heart and itself approached DoPT and got the order for treating effective date of promotion from 01.01.2011 instead of 20.06.2012. Someone decides to get a stay on promotion from one CAT or other. It is BB and RS's fault. Supreme Court delivered a decision on NR Parmar case stating that the senoirity is to be determined as per existing guidelines. Different CCIT - CCAs were following different standards. It was ITGOA leadership's fault. CBDT is not determing the actual vacancies. it is ; whose fault? come again.
CBDT is very much supportive and in favour of all the officers and staffs. Its our leaders who are not letting CBDT promote us and give our legitimate dues.

Today one more high flying working committee meeting by the ITEF is over. All the comrades enjoyed the comforts of star hotel and had good sharaab and kabaab. Result of the meeting ? (Bade Babaji ka thullu)

Why is this to be transfer to Kolcata. The one cell od cbdt who is dealing with Income Tax is already operating from kolkata. E.g. false promises made by itef n itgoa. Both could not materialize their promises of early (it is timely,in our view) promotions. Revision of grade pay etc.

ReplyDeleteyou are wrong all benifits ie increment pay fixation pension are allowed in ad hoc promotions except seniority.
How come pr.ccit and pr.cit promotions were given with out recrutement rules? Does rules needed for lower cadres like executive assistant only?

For DR IRS, the CBDT can do any thing under its powers and when it comes for Non Gazetted all the Rules and Acts will come and our beloved Bekaar and Dupak will close their eyes as if they don't know anything about this kind of orders.
