As mentioned earlier today, the order of PR. CCITs has been issued today. 18 officers of the Income Tax Dept. have been elevated to the apex scale. With this, perhaps the most significant upgradation of cadre review exercise has taken place. Chairman and Members of CBDT congratulated the officers and marked the day as "historic".

With this much awaited implementation of cadre review finally began and the rank and file of this department may hope for early notification of statewise allocation of posts and overdue promotions therafter.

When FM could sign the promotion file for this order how come he couldn't sign post allocation file...thing is that it isn't put up with him till date. ..n there are no chances that it will b till this revenue secretary is there
To jump from supreme to supremo, there is no requirement of passing any departmental promotion examinations, then why it is compulsory for poor TAs, Sr.TAs or IITs please comment on this issue. Many are hopeless about this.

in place of redundant 'OS' posts that many IIT should be recruited through SSC, as they are the backbone of IT Department.
After clearing recruitment rules and promotions CCITs file FM has left 4 chennai...no hopes till Monday....

Corruption in India starts from top level. When the CBDT has issued promotion order of Pr CCIT then why it is silent on Group B and C. For what it has been waiting.
Great news. Congratulations to New Pr.CCITs. Why only 18 have been promoted whereas 26 posts have been approved by central cabinet?

ITEF CHQ news: Our FM has left his pen in the aircraft itself when he returned on the way to sign the CR at the instance of Mr. K.P. Rajgopal. So he again returning to Chennai to take his pen and sign the allocation file on Monday. (Monday ITEF will give some other date for allocation along with reason)

Notification of C.R. will published after 31/03/2014. Because after approval from FM,file will be go to Election Commission....

Promotion order passed for Pr.CCIT. Congratulions to PrCCITs, especially who are retiring on 31.3.2014, thereafter they cannot be said Pr.CCIT, but protion from Gr.C is not seen by ITEF and CBDT and the Govt., whose FM is roaming here and there and file of allocation is under the dust and waiting his approval. So all the employee / member of the depaetment / ITEF should issue whip that in future nobody should vote and support to the govt, whose FM / Revenue secretary has no sympathy with the mass employee of the departments under CBT. Shame on FM and revenue secretary.

Election commission has raised objection to the timing of approval.so the fm has postponed the signing as some gentleman said he has gone to fetch his pen frm chennai...news frm chennai is that he had 2 pens then why did he hide this fact?There is certainly some conspiracy going on.
As per latest news,no ITI recruitment from SSC further.Their work is going to be outsourced. In CR,huge emphasis is on outsourcing.

Why on earth is RS keeping the file for one month without any action.Dare u low cladre people keep a file for 15 days?

Retention of date of passing seniority for promotion to ITI may be insisted because it would help all those got intercharge transfer.
we are made to work now to compensate for two days strike in february. Last year too we had three days leave during March 29th to 31st. hope they finally release the post allocation tomorrow.

There is no IT Office in Sivaganga in TN where FM's son is contesting.
There's no ink in both the pens.
For ur information date of passing of inter charge transferee also shifts to date of transfer as per cbdt letter issued in 2003. For ex. If a person passed ITI in 2003 transfered to other region on inter charge in 2006 his date of passing ITI will be considered as 2006 or 2007.
