Mumbai ITEF to observe lunch hour demonstration today (07/04/2014)

ITEF Mumbai circle to hold lunch hour demonstration on 07.04.2014 against CBDT for non honouring the agreement with ITEF before notification of additional posts on account of cadre review.
"We strongly denounce this attitude of the Board in not honouring its own promise of discussing the allocation of posts with the ITEF.  It is indeed shameful that the CBDT has not even informed the ITEF about the criteria adopted for the allocation of posts. In the circumstances, the ITEF, Mumbai circle has taken the decision to hold a massive lunch-hour demonstration on 7.4.2014 in front of Aayakar Bhavan as first step in the direction of a prolonged struggle expected in the ensuing financial year of 2014."
View the details in ITEF Mumbai site.
Earlier JCA WB has also started demonstration and non co operation against cuttlement of posts in WB region.

ITEF leaders trying to save their skin by holding demonstrations. They knew it first only that nothing was going to come out of the meeting with CBDT. By this attitude no one would be getting promotions who have been waiting (yawns.........) for several months. Gaddi ruk gayi hai, koi dhakka maro. Agar, ITEF ke netao ko dhakka marke bahar nikalo ge toh yeh promotion ki gaddi chalegi mitron.

MORE SET BACK FOR WB REGION. 1600 POSTS TO BE TRANSFERRED IN NEXT 3 YEARS. THAT INCLUDES 800 POSTS OF EA.

Justified post for allocation is around 5500 posts in all cadres comparing to WB's workload and revenue achievement.

But what about illegal recruitment if 812 inspectors of 2005-06. Cheating the then aspirants and constitutional violations ?!!!

ITEF has no power and effect on CBDT. They are only fooled by the CBDT every now and then.

All the DR sinnspectors of appointee in 2008 from SSC notification 2005 recruited against 2007 vacancies without advertisement of the respective posts 808 were now challenging the DoPT OM 4.3.2014.
When the CBDT is bound to follow the guidelines issued by the DoPT in service matters, how the employee could challenge the DOPT OMs in courts. Is it not the violation of CCS(Conduct rules). Why the administration is soft corner on the DRs. All employees before appointing should sign on the documents which clearly states that without prior approval No one could challenge the Government procedure since it is binding precident to the employee to agree before joining in the department.

Promotion to Gazetted officer post, atleast 5 years ACRs have to be verified and the eligible departmental tests have to be cleared off prior to the year of DPC year. Next, minimum three years working service in the respective cadre is required as per recruitment rules. If there were ITO posts available for 2009, the DRs who have joined in the department in 2008 are eligible to get promotion, without qualifying the Deptt inspectors and ITOs exam. Certainly Not.
