It is learnt from sources that Jurisdiction Notification has been cleared by Ministry of Law and expected to be released within a week. The date of effect of new jurisdiction is decided as 15th November 2014.
CBDT will sent the new jurisdiction of CITs and in turn they will issue order notifying new jurisdiction under his administrative control (Range/Circle/ward).

it is learnt from reliable sources, that ITEF WB Secy. will be the all india secy. in feb,15 in Guahati Conferance.......now the calculation is understood...... the posts in CR are sold for All india secy. ship.....

New Jurisdiction :Even after notification of Revised Office Memorandum,the jurisdiction will still have legal issues...This aspect can be perused after the issue of basic orders on the subject.
Let us wait for the relevant Office Memorandum which is stated to be effective from 15th November!2014.With regards...
How can one finalize next ITEF secretary General at present. There will be lot of push and pulls even upto last minute of withdrawal of nomination in the conference venue. Dont project any person at this moment.
Good News that the ball for implementation of Cadre Restructuring has started. Lets hope that the CBDT shall also consider soon the plea of the Direct Recruitee UDCs in implementing the interpretation of the Supreme Court's decision in the case of N.R.Parmar and others their case also without waiting for another similar decision by the Apex Court in the case of Direct Recruitee UDCs which is bound to happen if the CBDT does not intervene in the matter.The only factor will be that the Direct Recruitee UDCs will loose a substantial period of their valuable service in this Department in getting their due justice, as it has been rightly quoted that " Justice Delayed is Justice Denied ".
Practically there is no ITEF in WB. All are chamcha and worthless. Members of WB region are requested to withdraw membership and kick them out.
Bro most probably this is not true. How is it possible that both unions are to be control ed by one region ? ITGOA n ITEF S.G. from the same region. Unbelievable.

The topic opted for has very little relevance to matters relating to Jurisdiction.The need is to wait for appropriate Office Memorandum,as pointed out.
Practically,where is itef ?
When our respected leaders are not giving result at chq level , how can we looks for results from base levels.
When DR UDCs who hv become ITIs in 2005-06 2006-07 and 2007-08 will claim seniority as per NRP, i.e. uf at all the claim is accepted, then these DR UDCs will superceed a large number of DR ITIs of 2005-2006 and 2006-07.
So DR ITIs are pumping lot of ill gotten money (earned thru corrupt means) in HRD and DOPT thru their agency ITGOA trying to isolate the DR UDCs.
Let us wait for the Office Memorandum in connection with !Jurisdiction Notification!
It is not understood as to how the simpleincometax will have any bearing on the Administration which deals with promotions etc...

It is strange that the I T Department has created/upgraded so many posts at all the levels in the form of Cadre Restructuring but most of the posts (specially at upper level) are not being filled up either due to lack of eligible service for promotion or due to bifurcation of posts (in ACIT) in five years. When the posts are being created immediately after cadre restructuring, then why the promotions are being bifurcated to five years leaving the key posts vacant. Present strength at upper level is forced to hold additional charges which is deteriorating the efficiency of the department as a whole. Please look into this problem.
