The official site of CBDT, "irsofficersonline" is presently available only for IRS officers. Others can view the homepage only and important information in "official communique" is password protected. Only the IRS officers can view these information with their civil code. The creates problem and denies the right to information to rank and file of this department. But, surprisingly, the Hindi version of this webpage is free from this restriction. Anybody has still free access to all it's useful content.

surely the Hindi version will go off very soon..because they IRS fraternity does not want the rank and file to know about whats happening in the Department..now they will tight this loose end..
Yes, they made it full proof now. The Hindi version is also password protected now !
