It seems the Delhi Circle JCA's agitation programme effected the Board. The CBDT in the last week has constituted a four members committee to examine the demands of Income Tax Employees regarding recruitment and promotion issue. The committee headed by Jt. Secretary(Admin), Finance Ministry, Shri S. K. Lohani will submit its reports by July 18 and on the basis of the committee’s recommendation the CBDT will take a call regarding long pending demands of the employees.
In the other hand, JCA West Bengal unit is organizing non cooperation movement including non submission of statistical reports, non participation of search and survey etc. for more than three months but CBDT seems to be not bothered at all. Surprisingly the All India Secretary General of ITGOA is from West Bengal but could not create any impression on CBDT on any issue including national issue as ACIT promotion or local issue of unjustified cadre allocation in his own state.

All unions including ITEF, ITGOA and IRSA should be disbanded and all-IT association with representation from all designations is required. This association will not have the power of strike. This department will go nowhere if every day there is a new demand and for every demand there is a new strike.
It is highly appreciable that agitation of JCA's Delhi region got attention of CBDT. On the other hand the agitation of JCA's WB regeion since creation of biased Cadre Review 2013 got no attention at all where as the demand is genuine and attracts even judicial interference as discrimination have been made among the employees of IT department. Candidates from various states are posted in different cadre in WB region according to the merit list but all group B and C employees are deprived who are posted in WB region only due to conspiracy of core committee. The sly,incapable and opportunist comrades of WB JCA are misguiding their members.SHAME ! SHAME!
