Ministerial Examination for Direct Recruit Tax Assistant should be do away. They should be allowed to sit for Inspectors Examination like Direct Recruited Inspectors as both of them have to clear the CGL Exam, only the top scorer are recruit as Inspector.

Exams should be compulsory for all itos in the cadre...All are dumb..Some Dont know the act also properly..Exam must retrospectively..

aap bilkul sahi hain....aur waise log jinko aapse thoda sa kam marks aaya tha, aur unka selection nahi hua ...unko ko bhi Income tax main job milna chahiya...kyonki thoda sa marks hi to kam aaya hai......
Itna hi nahi chuki ek hi exam se TA aur Inspector dono select hote hain ...TA ko bhi bina Inspector bane hi ITO main consider kiya jana chahiye...
In every cadre, there should be a exam after completing 4 years in a particular cardre and next promotion and posting should bd on merit scored in the exam.

Bilkul sahi he exam to hona chahiye sabhi post ke liye nahin to koi dhyan hi nahin deta ACT ko samjhne ke liye! Its a very good move by CBDT. Later on it should apply to all.
DR TAs selected by SSC should be allowed to appear for ITI Exam instead of Ministerial Exam.
Ministerial Exam should be mandatory for MTS, NS, Steno, Gr-II and TA appointed in Sports quota and Compassionate grounds.
Department ka majaak banaa ke rakha hua hai...ITO banne ke baad exam phir bolenge ACIT banne ke baad exam do...Jo abhi ITO hai woh kyaa sab einstein ki khopdi liye hue hai..50% se jyaada ITO dept ka naam dubo rahe hai, unka exam kyun nahi...ITGOA is also in sleep mode...Chandigarh, Allahabad and Mumbai mein suna hai CAT filed against this step treatment..Anyone any updatess..Please post..

Bhai, even direct Inspectors appears for Inspector Exam. Whats wrong, if a direct TA appear for UDC Exam. U dont have any logic!!!!
I think, you are an NS. When an DR ITI is appearing for ITI departmental exam, why cant be direct TA appear for UDC Exam?

There should be exam for promotion to ACIT. All ITOS with minimum 8 years service as ito should be made eligible for appearing in the exam. Minimum passing marks should be 60 percent for general candidates and 50 percent for reserved candidates. The papers should be descriptive only.
Dept exam pass karne bad dusari exam lena to galat bat hai.
After some days people will demand that since class one officers donot know the procedures beneath their posts so they must be made seat in inspectors exam to know the deptt well.
ITI and ITO grade pay difference was 200 rupees only .
ITI and TA grade pay had a difference of 2200 Rs.Such a huge differnce speaks itself.
only one mark this side you get class one officer job and only one mark that side jobless in UPSC; atleast ssc gives TA job..in other case jobless people cannot compel govt to make them sit in LBSNAA because they got failed by one or 2 marks.
more than 50% of the present ITOs are surviving on their inspectors or below cadre. They cannot even read appeal orders and prepare their replies without mistakes properly what to talk of assmt orders.
1.Promotion policies of the deptt have ruined the deptt to the scrap.
2.Cheating in departmental exams have promoted such people to ITO level who are only burden on deptt and their subordinates.
3. APARs of qualified people are filled by dumb people.
4.It might not be a surprise id one says that 80% all past ITOs have bewn here after chwatings and frauds in deptt exams.
Sir what about Ito to promotee ac dpc. Is it going to be held in July 2017 ?

CAT filed in Chandigarh, Allahabad , Mumbai and Bhopal..Board shud take back circular or conduct exams for all the officers without discrimination....
