Much awaited cadre review and restructuring process in Income Tax Dept. initiated by CBDT. A 15 member committee with representatives of three recognized service associations is formed to submit a detailed report for reorganization of this department.
A time frame of three months has been set for this exercise but as per the past experience, it usually takes at least two years to finalize the report for consideration in different levels and finally gets through cabinet approval.

DR Inspectors should be placed at Level 8 [earlier Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/-]
Promotees may be allowed retain at Level 7 with grade pay of Rs. 4600/-]
It will benefit only to the IRS cadre only.
why not the DR should be directly placed to HAG scale sir

Haaaaaa sahi kaha apne. DR inspectors should be given parallel to IRS officers or even higher if possible.
DR inspectors should be given 2400 grade pay. They don't deserve more than that.
Seats will be decreased in this cadre review so don't enjoy

Restructuring Abhi nahi hua, jhagra chalu. Isliye IRS Log makkhan chura le Jata hain.... don't quarrel among same cadres. Be it DR or Promotee, jobs required to be performed at the same level. So, there should not be any discrimination.

Itna ghamand pata nahin kyun hai sab Ko apni post ka. Iti Ko inspectors hip ka ghamand. Ito Ko apni officer tag ka ghamand. Irs toh khud Ko Bhagwan samajte hain. Choti si zindagi hai. Chill maar ke jiyo. Sab ki help karo
Please focuse on RR , IN present scenario it is much rrquired.
