Allocation of posts as per core committee report

Allocation of posts as recommended by core committee is procured by sources. There are some modifications over the report of sub committee 1. The allocation includes the number of existing and additional man power. The chart available with us is from ITO and upwards. In some region like West Bengal the sanctioned strength of ITO actually reduced from 477 to 471.

Details of meeting with Member(P) on cadre restrucure

Agitation to continue from 21st January
Meetings on cadre restructuring with ITEF and ITGOA convened by Member (P&V), CBDT were held on 16.01.2014 and 17.01.2014. As stated earlier the main subject of meeting was different yardsticks adopted by sub-committee -1 and core committed and that of the ITEF. ITEF cleared its views on formula proposed by them regarding allocation of posts. Meeting was concluded without any final assurance except assurance of Member(P&V) to discuss the outcome in the board.

1982-88 batch IRS officers to be Principal CITs by March

It is learnt that IRS officers belonging to 1982 to 1988 batch are soon to be promoted as Principal CITs with HAG scale. Deficiencies in annual performance appraisal report of eight IRS officers are, reportedly, being examined after which the proposal would be sent to UPSC for date of DPC. The complete process is expected to be completed by March 2014.

Core committee submitted report to CBDT

It is known that core committee has submitted it's report to CBDT. We are yet to procure copy of the same. Form the site of ITEF Kerala circle it is known that the report of sub committee 1 has been slightly modified in respect of regionwise allocation.
