Regarding retention of departmental laptop after retirement, Directorate of Infrastructure has issued a letter addressed to PCCIT Kolkata clarifying that departmental laptops may be retained by paying the existing value of the same after allowing depreciation in straight line method.
Details of the calculation is described in the said letter dated 09/01/2023.
