CBDT (Directorate of HRD) issued an O.M. regarding fixation benefit on promotion of Steno Grade-II to Grade I and Sr. TA to OS.
The O.M. conveys the approval of Dept. of Expenditure on the proposal of Dept. seeking fixation of pay under Rule 13(i) of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2008 in case of promotion from Steno Gr II to Steno Gr I and Sr T.A. to O.S. where both feeder and promotional cadre carries same Grade Pay.

The said OM is related to the service issues(pay fixation) of OS and steno Gr-I . It should have been published in the departmental news of incometaxindia.gov.in or the contents should be made available to all in the irsofficersonline itself. If the website maintained by IRS Association we can only request them posts related to issues members of staff may be made available for viewing by all. If it is maintained by the department by using govt fundsthe , the other two service associations should take up the issue at appropriate level so that contents affecting the service of members of staff should be made available for viewing by the staff members. We as a members of staff have right to demand if the site is maintaintained by the department.
Dear admin this is very wise decision "not to publish personal comments as it has already harmed the relations among all cadres of I.T.
There was a circular regarding this,wherein it was stated that wherever higher responsibility is involved, a fixation benefit can be given. This circular was issued in the year 2012.
Why the Blogger is verifying and publishing after approval.
The comments r co-relating with personal-personnel. The problems should be solved by that Deptt / wing only.
What is happening in AP incometax is not good for any body. No promotions, no restructuring, no movement. Leaders in the association and staff of administration got inspectors, but went to cat for suspension of the promotional order after reporting to duty in the new cadre. Quite ridiculous and injustice for others, waiting for promotion. God only can save us.
