The Quarterly Review Meeting of the Joint Council of Action with the Chairperson, CBDT
was held on 21-07-2015 at New Delhi.
JCA published the outcome of the meeting. After going through the same, nothing substantial achievement is found. Let us discus a few.
Calculation of vacancies for ACIT promotion :
"The Chairperson directed the DGIT (HRD) and the JS (Admin.) to complete the file work of vacancy calculation within a week’s time and she assured that the Board would take the decision on the number of promotions to be held immediately thereafter." (Tarikh pe tarikh !)
Recruitment Rule :
Absolutely no development.
Withdrawal of the Order of Diversion of 1633 posts from West Bengal & Sikkim Charge.
"The committee formed for the purpose needs to be revived and the same would be done and decision will be taken within a period of 3 months.: (That means the committee is presently defunct, What the hell both the secretaries from this region is busy with ?)
New Laptops to AO/PS and Inspectors and replacement of old Laptops.
No good news in this regard too! (whether the announcement made in the ITEF secretarial meeting was merely a gossip ? It was said in that meeting that Laptop for Inspectors got final approval ! Click here for details of ITEF meeting held on 13.07.15)
Increase in the reimbursement of local travel expenses to Inspectors and Notice Servers
"The IFU has sent back the file for obtaining comments from the Pr. Chief Controller of Accounts. The proposal will be resubmitted to the IFU after obtaining the same from Pr. Chief Controller of Accounts." (No advancement in years.)

All these should be sent to OTA for 6 months training. Very lithargic
No fruitful exercise . CBDT is deliberately prolonging the matters. JCA is not adopting pressure tactics to get the issues resolved. When JCA will understand the agony of the commom members?
Present JCA leadership is very weak and lost its bargaining power with the CBDT. Instead of representing the urgent important issues, the JCA taking the unimportant issues like opposing videography of departmental exam etc., Unless a serious agitation like boycotting search and survey action and non submission of reports etc., the CBDT won't do any fruitful action.

ITGOA ready to accept for Ad-hoc promotions for ITO to ACIT to satisfy the warring sides of Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary groups of ITGOA on seniority issue, which means no consequential promotion for ITI to ITO. ITEF should not accept for ad-hoc ACIT promotion proposal.
How ITEF is concerned about promotions of ITO to ACIT. Upon which cause they accept or reject the proposal. Asked itef to take care of their own matters.
ITEF has to concern about promotions of ITO to ACIT because their members will get consequential promotions from ITO to down below.

Even after 3 days have passed, ITGOA has not came out with outcome of MCM meeting held on 26 and 27.07.2015. What they are going to do with ITO to ACIT promotion?

If a ITO pass the CIT exam, will the department will give promotion to a ITO as CIT?
Board is agree to give 180 promotions of ACIT, but ITGOA is creating hurdle in the name of vacancy position, we should write directly to the Board to conduct DPC for 180 post.
We should not beg the CBDT to get the posts what it is giving. We have every right to fight our due share of us.
Why ITGOA has not come out with the outcome of the MCM meeting held on 26& 27July 2015?
because as usual the out come of the MCM was also a big zero

How absurd u r saying. Our beloved ITEF N ITGOA leaders are capable of many things - LIKE enjoying meetings in star hotels and exotic hill stations and branded cities - all at ITEF and ITGOA member's monthly contribution.
Member's subscription just won't enough for their chaai Paani. For every Conference or Meeting, our Comrades will issue souvenir forms All over the Country or State as the case may be depending upon whether it is a All India Conference or State level conference. Out of the 'souvenir' collection amount they will conduct the lavish meetings and later release one souvenir book containing advertisements contributed by the advertisers normally big assessees all over India. So please don't think that with your paltry subscription our leaders enjoying their day today enjoyment.
The amount of money they spent on meeting is really huge associations persons are enjoyying 5 star luxuries out of our salaries they just do get together like going on outing at from the money of members.this is really shameful and this amount to open corruption.
They must have collected around 20 lakh for mcm meeting at panchkula see the amont wasted .Particularly when we have real down to earth leaders like Bhaskar .
Why you people are not commenting on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Yahoo groups? At least the popularities of two secretaries will come to the front

Next working? Committee meeting of the ITEF is going to be held in Ghaziabad on 13 & 14.08.2015 to finalise the venue where to conduct the next Working?? Committee meeting. Please suggest some good place to the Comrades so that they can decide the next venue. Pending Demands? forget about it. Even ITGOA who has conducted their MCM meeting last month are not yet woke up till now.

About 50 Inspectors (ITEF members) including 20 promotee Inspectors (many will retire soon) are senior to ITO but not getting promotion to ITO in West Bengal. What the ITEF leaders are doing? They have only become tail of ITGOA. SHAME SHAME SHAME.
