CBDT withdraws Grace Mark for SC/ST employees

It is clarified that there is no concept of grace marks in betterment attempt and grace marks awarded to any betterment candidate in 2010 and 2011 are being withdrawn.

E-filing website with a new look, starts mobile service

The website for electronic filing of I.T. returns is redisgned and and now available with a new smarter look. Apart from the existing services, it started a few mobile services. Instant mobile alert on different transactions are available if the service is activated. The log in feature in the original page is more secured now. Providing date of birth is essential in addition to the user id and password.

ITI Exam, 2012 : Allied Law - Information about evaluation

It has been decided that 10 question of the exam which was related to Court Fee Act and Indian Stamp Act, will be left out for evaluation. The marking will be done out of 90 marks and thereafter to be computed as out of 100.

New RSA token for officers/staff of the I.T. Dept.

The validity of the existing RSA tokens are going to be expired shortly and the Dept. will provide new RSA token to the officials of the Dept. Old token has to be surrendered to the office of the respective CIT (CO)'s office and new tokens to be collected.
