ITGOA submitted memorandum to Revenue Secy. on allocation of posts and various other issues

ITGOA submitted a detailed memorandum to Revenue Secretary regarding grievances regarding allcation of posts, extra ordinary delay to ACIT promotion, transfer policy etc. Mention to the reduction of posts from West Bengal region is described as " Also the allocation suggested drastic reduction of posts in the West Bengal Charge in all cadres i.e instead of allocating new additional posts the existing posts were also curtailed. On this issue we are of the opinion that the Board had deviated from the principle of Cadre-restructuring and also from the assurances given to us. Accordingly, we would like to request your honour to revisit the principle on which the posts were allocated by the Board and to set right the injustices committed to the charges where the existing strength was reduced."
ITGOA also issued a circular to members detailing current scenario including the much awaited ITO to ACIT promotion.
A meeting of JCA has been convened on 4th May 2014 to discuss and find out next course of action.

लगता है ITGOA नींद से जाग है. Certainly allocation का basis वहीं होना चाहिए जो की posts creation का basis था. पर ये बात ITGOA को आज याद आई हैं. नींद से जागने के लिय हार्दिक धन्यवाद.

ITGOA has appealed for their cause only. Where is ITEF WB Unit ? Awake all member of WB unit regarding gross injustice made to WB unit by CBDT and Writ should be filed regarding this injustice. It seems it is a political issue where FM and IRS officers played a game from back door. Is it believable 20,751 new posts have been created and more than 1600 posts have been reduced from WB region. It is high time to untie and fight for justice.

Gazetted officers think about themselves only. They even not given a single gist about the long stay on the promotion of ITIs

It is really pathetic that the senior officers and decision makers are concerned with their own promotions and transfers and the optimum performance of our department to augment the revenue collection which is our primary duty is the least priority for them. This is evident from the fact that cadre restructuring is taking so long and they are not interested even for filling the regular vacancies in cadre of ACIT and below. It seems they are happy seing all the litigation happening so that they have an excuse for stalling the promotion of lower cadres.Surprisingly the FM and Revenue Secretary is also silent on this inept attitude of CBDT members.

Why do not the ITGOA and ITEF collect the performance figures in various areas of work of our elite Officers and put it before the Revenue Secretary and FM and ask whether they deserve so much eliteness that others in lower cadre shoul only be promoted if the direct IRS desires. Are they supermen to hold three to four charges with lots of work in cities like Delhi and Mumbai .See their performance and it can be gauged .Its all window dressing .

Why is the Revenue Secretary a DR IAS Officer? Why is the Chairman of CBDT only a DR? Why is there no Promotee in the Board? Why is there no Promotee as Pr. CCIT? Why is it full of DRs? ITGOA should aim higher.

ITGOA DOES NOT HAS THE CLASS

So many officers and officials are going to be retired without promotion of restructure. Efforts should taken by the ITGOA & ITEF jointly for the implementation of the restructuring process. Both the associations should meet the Chairman, CBDT immediately for an early solution.

By giving Pr.CCIT posts in time, the welfare of IRS officers was taken care of..so as far as Board is concerned restructure is over..forget about poor Gr.C people..even recruitment rules not issued as on today..and hundreds retiring every month with out promotion and also life long pensionery benefit..
