Dress code prescribed for Taxmen in the Capital

Delhi Income Tax office (Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner) directed it's employees to wear formal dress in the office. Any casual or party attire should strictly be avoided while on duty.

 Any staff member who does not meet the attire, will be subject to corrective action and may be asked to leave the premises to change clothing.

Generate your own pay slip through PFMS

Any employee can generate his/her pay slip from PFMS with effect from March 2018.
Log in to https://pfms.nic.in
User Id : PAN of the employee
P/W : Date of birth in ddmmyyyy format
A change of password in mandatory after first time log in.
(New password shoud be alphanumeric with one special character.
After changing password log in again with new password.
Click on Employees Info. System- Click on Go to EIS-Go to Pay Realted-Clickon View Pay Slip-Select Pay Year and Pay Month-Click on View Pay Slip
Pay slip can be downloaded or print out may be obtained.

Income Tax offices to remain open this weekend

To facilitate filing of Income Tax returns and completion of pending departmental works, all Income Tax offices throughout the country shall remain open on 29th , 30th and 31st March 2018. CBDT issued order u/s 119(1) of the Income Tax Act 1961.
It may be mentioned that 29th and 30th March was declared as closed holiday on account of Mahavir Jayanti and Good Friday. 31st March is also a holiday as saturday.

It was informed earlier that bills may be uploaded in PFMS till 27th March 2018 as of now.
