JCA West Bengal seeks Revenue Secy's intervention reg discrimination to WB region

Following is the letter sent to Revenue Secretary by JCA, West Bengal Unit seeking intervention against discrimination made to West Bengal charge regarding allocation of posts.
In this letter JCA, West Bengal has stated the suspension of agitation keeping faith on Revenue Secretary, though a separate call for agitation and non cooperation is called in the banner of ITEF central circle.
The final report of core committee regarding allocation of posts cut a very sorrow figure in respect of West Bengal charge where possibility of promotion remains really bleak.
Salient point of the allocation as suggested by the core committee in respect of W.B. is appended below
Post    Existing Strength    Rec. by sub committee 1  Rec by Core Committee     Reduction

There is no discrimination for West Bengal. It is a justified allocation of cadre review posts comparing to abnormal quantity of posts they got in 2001 cadre review using their clout in the ITEF leadership at New Delhi.

The above comments are not logical. It should be remembered that it is cadre review process of the IT Department not cadre reduction process. So one should not be happy that one region would get posts reduction while more than 20,000 additional posts are created in the IT department.

Cadre review doesnt mean cadre increase. Infact cadre revie means justified reallocation of existing and additional vacancies. Review ka matlab punarvichar ie reconsideration, As Honble Courts in their Review change/modify/alter the original order.Report of Sub Committee 1 is a justified allocation of cadre review posts comparing to abnormal quantity of posts they got in 2001
