Confusion is spreading regarding advance passing increment to Sr T.As and Stg Gr I. The present status of the same is described below.
CBDT vide it's order dated 5th March 2015 to all cadre controlling Pr CCITs , stated that as per the recommendation from DOLA, two advance increments to Sr T.A and Stg Gr I may be granted as per various court's order.
The Board has decided to issue general instruction in this matter soon.
It is implied in the order that till the issuance of any general instruction in this matter, only the cases under litigation and armed with favourable court judgement for the employees concerned, may be disposed with granting advance increments.

If the department fixes time bar promotion instead of vaccany then there is no need of giving advance increments.
Persons who became IIT after just three years of service also got two advance increments for passing the department promotion examination of IIT and two more for passing the ITO examination. What a fun !!!.
Person whose promotion is delayed due to vacany should be given advance increments only but not to those who got their promotion just in time, increments should be withdrawn from the day of promotion if promoted in stipulated time. The prescribed scale of pay like the scale of DRs should be made applicable in promotion cases also.
There should be a provision to grant advance increments on passing the Ministerial Staff Examinations also. Kindly comment in this issue....
I.t.deptt is not giving promotions to its employees as per rule and regulations. Formula of might is right is prevails. Who deserve the promotions are not getting promotions but whose lobby is sttong getting promotions.
what will be done when someone gets 2 advance increments as TA and his junior gets 2 advance increments as Sr. TA. After junior will be getting more pay than his senior....... Pls reply...
Constitution of India says there should not be any discrimination in the matters of employment.from this equal work -equal pay principle has been drawn . Why discrimination in pay fixation of DR-PR , minium pay for the particular post should be same for all categories. PR inspectors should be fixed not below the minimum Pay fixed for DR inspectors. The organisation responsible for raising this issue I.e., ITEF or confederation should take initiative to remove thisdisparity so as equal work-equal pay is guaranted.
Yes it should be strongly pursued by I.t.e.f. but nothing done in the past. Hope new s.g. and president may feel the pain and fight to remove this anomaly .

This order effect for minimum candidates to get two advance increments especially in Tamilnadu Region and all others already got the increments. So that the CBDT, DOPT and DOLA approved the proposals for the long fighting of the candidates. Hats up Mumbai Region.
In significant, Honble Supreme Court ordered on 15.07.2014 to get away improvement examinations for SC ST candidates in the case of Rohtas and others Vs UOI. But, still it is not come under limelight to the all candidates. Please any body know about it, present position may be informed.
IT MAY BE FOUND FROM MANY CHARGES THAT AFTER ADDITION OF 2+2 ADVANCE INCREMENTS STILL A PROMOTEE INSPECTOR IS NOT REACHING THE MINIMUM SCALE OF PAY PRESCRIBED FOR DR INSPECTORS.
AS THE PROMOTION IS SUBJECT TO EXPERIENCE AND PASSING OF A REQUISITE STANDARD OF DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINATION, HENCE, THE PROMOTEE SHOULD ALSO GET THE SAME SCALE OF PAY APPLICABLE FOR DR's .
THERE SHOULD BE A PROVISION FOR GRANT OF ADVANCE INCREMENTS ON PASSING THE MINISTERIAL STAFF EXAMINATIONS .
MTS SHOULD ALSO BE GIVEN CHANCE TO APPEAR THE MINISTERIAL STAFF/IIT/ITO EXAMINATIONS. WHY THEY SHOULD DEPRIVED OF GETTING SUCH OPPORTUNITY ? OF COURSE UNION SHOULD RAISE THIS ISSUE .........
MTS are now Group C employees. They should also be given chance to appear departmental promotion examinations. And should be made entitle to get advance increments on passing of all those promotions examinations as applicable to other group C employees of TA/steno/OS/IIT etc. When MTS were made Group C at that time this provision should have ammended. Union should fight for this right of MTS's.
Compulsory transfer to different places of the charge be made for all staff after a stipulated period of stay in a place to ensure smooth function of the offices. No staff including the MTS should be spared to stay at one place for a long without any valid reason . There should not be any deviation in this matter. If, it is found that a particular staff is adjusting to stay at one place where as a person came to the same place after him is under transfer to other place before him should approach the authority for justification of transfer and if required may go for legal action.

Certainly. In AP is one of the state with WB/Karnataka where Inspectors of RY 2008-09 are yet to be get promoted as ITOs. Whereas many other states where Inspectors completed 3-years of service are got promoted as ITOs. Similarly, TAs who are joined in the year 2008 got promoted as Inspectors, whereas in AP their status(TAs)_ is also like Inspector. Further, Inspectors joined in the month of Nov.2015 are yet to get their BSNL SIM. I can't blame any comrade, but who soever, feel that I can spare time for my fellow comrades then only to be active in the association. Leader should always be in front with data useful to the comrades and to see that you are worthy leader. Now a days number in unwarranted reports like - Cases in ITAT- income wise. This report has to be obtained from the o/oCIT(DR). Another RTI data regarding taxes paid on various slabs. This report can be generated by the Systems wing of the Dept. These are latest samples unfortunate.
