Ad hoc promotion to the the post of ACITs extended

CBDT extended Ad-hoc promotion of ACITs of 2014-15 and 2015-16 batch for one more year. The extension of these ad-hoc promotion will valid upto 21.07.2019

Order No. 109 of 2018 [ Extension of Ad-hoc Promotion of 2015-16 Batch]
Order No. 110 of 2018 [ Extension of Ad-hoc Promotion of 2014-15 Batch (Part)]

But it has been very disappointing for the adhoc promotions down the line. All consequential promotions has been made ad hoc basis and there is no move to regularize them. ITGOA and ITEF is also silent in this matter. many of the adhoc promotees are retiring without any promotional benefit in retirement calculation and also being humiliated. It is the high time that either the associations of the administration take this matter seriously and resolve the issue at the earliest.

Present exam pattern for Ministerial Staff should be simplified.

The promotions to ACIT cadre are never done without an agitation. Keeping three RY posts ad hoc renders the direct recruitment questionable. The recruitment at TA/ITI level is also not happening. Even Chairman is on extension. With no HR policy in place the department is heading towards existential crisis.

At least consequential promotion down the line should be of regular promotion not adhoc and innstruction to all CCA should be issue in this regard to give justice to all the officials.
