The DPC proposal sent to UPSC earlier has reportedly been reverted back with objections relating to seniority issues as per NRP implementation. UPSC is not likely to hold regular DPC unless NRP is implemented uniformly all over the country.
Board may grant ad hoc promotion of 200 ITOs within 31st March 2016. Question arises will the vacancies likely to be created against the adhoc promotion will be filled in with adhoc promotion in the lower rank ?

if i remember correctly, there was adhoc ito to acit promtion in 2001 or 2003. at that point of time adhoc iti to ito promotion was given.

JCA has begged the board to get the adhoc promotion atleast for 2014-15 in order to save its face before the furious members. Otherwise when the JCA calls for next agitation on ACIT promotion issue, the members will spit in the face of the useless leaders for their inaction.

when there is no reservation in promotion w.e.f. 15.06.1995 in view of verdict of supreme court in the case of M.Nagaraj delivered in the ye
ar 2006 why the CBDT is giving further reservation in promotion in the cadre of promotion of ITO to ACIT. In NWR region the verdict of supreme court has been implemented. How it can accepted that one region has drawn seniority with no reservation and other regions have drawn seniority with reservation. This inter-alia means junior of a charge where no reservation has been applied have become senior to members of other charges where reservation is applied in violation of Supreme Court Judgements. There are several judgements after M Nagaraj of Supreme Court.

Itgoa will issue a circular tonight that it has achieved one more great demand of 2014-15 (adhoc) ACIT promotions by 31.03.2016 leaving ITEF guessing what to convince its members to passify for not getting consequential vacancies.
In the ad hoc dpc there is no provision of reservation
The leaders of itef & itgoa both from WB charge. They have murdered their own ministerial staff career by approaching the cdbt to go with old RR. Now they in future the it is very harmful for the organization . Stenoes with minimum service will get the promotion again. This will be very fatal for the union in the long run. This is unbearable.
If this happens, the itef has to strive for promotion to the post of iti. It may provide some relief to the candidates furious with the attitude of cbdt.

There will be no consequential promotion for Adhoc promotions. If the board orders for adhoc consequential promotion to the down below cadres, then only consequential adhoc promotions can be made.
Did the ITGOA/ITEF/JCA aware of the apex courts's verdict in the case of Nagraj. If yes, how the promotion are being given for the reserved categories separately. Why can't a contempt petition be filed by general category before the apex court.

Staying reservation on promotion isn't an easy task. Whoever contemplating the option to move to the court in this regard should remain ready for equal and even fierce reaction.
implementation of catch up rule is inevitable. It is good that adhoc promotion is taking place. in the meantime process of catch up rule can be initiated. reversion is easier in adhoc promotion. No one is bigger than law. fierce reaction of stupids cannot stop course of law.

No promotion quota in group 'A', defense services, research etc., Then why the hell it is still continuing for group b and c when enough sc and st employees are there? Namo should do something in this regard.
