JCA to decide the fate of ongoing agitation tomorrow - 26/10/2015

Consequent upon the request from CBDT to withdraw the ongoing agitation to facilitate the intervention of the Revenue Secretary, JCA will meet tomorrow to decide future course of action.
Members are insisting to continue the agitation unless it yields some fruitful result especially when CBDT is on back foot for the subdued tax collection this year. Present dispute with employees is certainly put them into an embarrassing situation before the Government.
In the other hand, leaders are worried whether to take it as an escape route to suspend the agitation.
Will the intervention of Revenue Secretary bring any thing positive ? The West Bengal leadership must have a bitter experience about that ! They can recall the memories of cadre restructuring. West Bengal leaders met the then Revenue Secretary regarding post allocation. Despite positive assurance nothing was offered later and in addition 1633 posts diverted from West Bengal charge.

Once ACIT promotion issue is resolved, all demands in the charter are also resolved? ACIT promotions is the only demand?

Secretary Generals of ITEF and ITGOA are all India leaders and should not confine to the interest of WB alone.

Don't worry dear friend, they are truly national leaders.....they never think about their own state unit. Members of their state sacrificed posts in cadre restructuring just to get them national status. They will never do anything for their own state members. rest assured.

outsiders are trying to divide the JCA. No one can stop NRP implementation.

If the JCA suspends the agitation without any concrete assurance from the CBDT, then they will be in no where among the members.

Instead of criticizing each other we should be united against the ill designs of IRS people and should stand behind our leaders and keep faith in them in mid of war(agitation).

AGITATION ON OR OFF ????

The JCA may clarify more than 2500 posts recruited through SSC as DR ITIs & TAs in RY 2013-14 as against the assurance given by the associations in the CR that the posts are meant for promotions only. Now, they also claim NRP implementation. Then, think about the fate of the promotees?

Promotee itis should forget of ITO promotion for the 14-15 years. Thanks to itef and itgoats.

The Board has again reiterated that the promotion to ACIT post will be limited to 180 posts only, for r.Y. 2014-15 and R.Y. 2015-16.
It has been the stand of JCA that the promotion should be based on actual vacancy and not on no. of direct recuit IRS. What happened to that stand?
It is stated by the Board that DPC proposal for 180 posts is being sent to UPSC today 27.10.2015.
Leadership should think what were their demands, what have they achieved till now and what can they achieve if agitation is continued before taking a decision on withdrawal of agitation.

"Necessary follow up action would be taken on the decisions to be taken during the meeting, in time bound manner." Meeting with RS itself is an achievement. The agitation has not been withdrawn.
We should give some leeway to our leaders to achieve the demands. No purpose would be served if we remain rigid. Anyhow, would suspension of agitation for a week make any difference? Would Revenue Secretary be partisan to the CBDT? If our demands are just, we will will, come what may.

In Mumbai, promotion of promotee inspectors and Sr. TAs for 15-16 are blocked due to non-promotion of ITO to ACIT. JCA should not left any stone unturned for promotion of ITO to ACIT

After achieving ACIT promotion issue, most of the senior ITGOA members won't participate in the future agitation concerning ITEF demands. That much they are selfish peoples .

Not only selfish but corrupted rascals
