It is learnt that IRS officers belonging to 1982 to 1988 batch are soon to be promoted as Principal CITs with HAG scale. Deficiencies in annual performance appraisal report of eight IRS officers are, reportedly, being examined after which the proposal would be sent to UPSC for date of DPC. The complete process is expected to be completed by March 2014.

Dear all... the cadre review must be implemented from the same date for all the officials irrespective of designation..... otherwise senior officers will get theirs done and will not bother about juniors.....finance minister should isuue specific direction on this.........

Good news-ITO's with 5400 grade pay will be designated as Sr.ITO
Do u think that they are going this way ? I have doubt about it. Our leader are fighting like cat's and fruit is going somewhere else.
What purpose is solved by designating ITOs after 4 years as Sr. ITO ?......
It will only delay the process of promotion to the post of ACIT and further promotion of group 'C' employees.........
You can safely now say that, there will NO implementation of CR in IT Department before June-2014.
Put pressure to all the CCA's to complete the DPC on old basis for the RY 2013-14.
Stenographers is a nongraduate post and has a different promotion hierarchy . However in IT department situation is quite different. Steno are directly promoted as insp. It is in gross violation of rules pprevailing in other ministry. This is not only disturbing the whole hierarchy but also putting TA AND SR TA on disadvantages.
