Today, everyone wants to become Board Member. Nobody cares what happens to Inspectors and ITOs when there is no staff. ITOs are doing the job of STA and TA. When will assessment happen. When will tax evasion be checked. When will a Gazetted Officer do the work of an "Officer".
Galat bola bhai tum ne.STA and TAs are doing the work of ITOs except signing. U can enquire it.
Dear friend you are perfectly correct to note and state the malady. The only treatment is just avoid,ignore and boycott the perpetrators of this anarchy.
The discrepancy and biased cadre review of the IT Department should be brought to the notice of New Central Govt. and attention should be drawn to the new Fiance Minster.

In AST module most of the works supposed to be done by ITO are being practically done be TA or STA. Higher responsibility is forcefully imposed on them. So kindly don't say ITOs are doing TAs work. Once less paid can shoulder the work meant for Gaz.Offr., why not person with higher responsibility can share the work of subordinate. Someone has correctly said todays TAs and STAs are doing the work of ITO except signing.
ITO's should feel pride that now they are being assisted by the staff's who are more qualified and intelligent to them. It is rather the TA's/STA's always remaining bussy by doing the work of ITO's without signature. It is fact that in many of the charges there are some ITO's who have managed to pass the departmental promotion examinations are now suffering a lot. So kindly, do not comment at least on TAs/STAs.
What happened to the JCA agitation in West Bengal??
