Vide this O.M., a relaxation from 3 years to 2 years in the regular service rendered will be considered as eligibility criteria for promotion to the post of Sr. T.A. for the vacancy year 2016-17.

How about one time relaxation for granting of 2 increments for passing departmental examination for Office Superintendents.
ITEF has forgotten about them and are soon to be subsumed by Executive Assistants.
It is done easily because matter is between Non-IRS.
whether JCA has guts to bow down the CBDT and get such relaxation for ITO to ACIT promotion.
If Promotion of ITO to ACIT dont held till 15-12-2015 as loudly announced by JCA, it will prove that leaders of JCA are not trustworthy.
For Tax Assistants relaxation announced and then for MTS to TA?????

what about those who loose taking the advance increments of passing dept exam of ITI in the cadre of TA while CBDT issued circular for taking increments in the cadre of Sr.TA ???
The question of relaxation comes only when there are no qualified candidates. THERE ARE EXCESS OF QUALIFIED ITOS. Then where is the question of relaxation

promotion of mts to tax assistant is very fast in Gujarat and m.p regions but Nagpur region is slow .in these regions are promoted in only three years but other regions promoted in 5 years .why?
